If your unit was purchased before February 1998, the pin-out is as follows:

* (If you cut the cable, please do it as close to the D9 connector covered by gray hood. You may purchase the above connector at a computer store, or possibly Radio Shack. If you want to replace it -- if you are connecting only wires -- match color to color. Please use heat shrink if possible.)
